Please ring Chatsworth Suite (01246 544400) to arrange an appointment with the receptionist. Mr James consults on Wednesday mornings and evenings. It will be very helpful if you have a referral letter from your GP, which they will often ask you to pick up from the surgery and bring with you to the consultation. This is recommended for all patients but not absolutely essential for those who are self-funded. If you are covered by private medical insurance, your insurer is likely to insist that you have been referred by your GP in order for them to agree to provide cover. Many insurers also ask you to speak to them before any consultation, investigation or treatment to agree pre-authorisation of cover for any costs incurred.
